help me make a really big move!

I love Portland so, so much and it breaks my heart to have to move. But, I no longer feel safe here and I don’t see things changing in the next few years unfortunately. Help. me make a huge move to somewhere safer, quieter, more peaceful. We’ve got some time to save - I won’t be moving until spring of 25, but moving costs are expensive, as is getting car, potentially buying new furniture, and any down payments, deposits, changes in healthcare, etc.
